Teesdale Training is part of Bishop Auckland College and provides local people with a wide range of flexible courses for adults and apprenticeship training for 16 to 25 year olds.

Radio Teesdale is a unique community voluntary venture that broadcasts to the whole of Teesdale, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have successfully broadcast full time since March 2007 with a 5 year license and continues to meet our OFCOM standards. The station is run by the people of Teesdale, for the people of Teesdale as the heartbeat of the community. We are always looking for new members and people who can contribute to the stations output and provide background support. The station broadcasts on both 102.1 and 105.5 fm, and is also available online at www.radioteesdale.co.uk. Additionally, we are proud to have online listeners across the globe from places such as New Zealand, Canada and the United States of America. Radio Teesdale, It's yours!

Teesdale Village Halls Consortium (also known as TVHC) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee. It was founded in 1995 with its main aim to promote and improve the effectiveness of Village Halls and Community Organisations in Teesdale by the provision of relevant advice, funding, training and information. The Consortium is composed of people from the management committees of 33 community buildings in Teesdale and people from interested organisations.
