Home Based Business Network - (Teesdale Network) Work from home? We have the club for you Teesdale Home Based Business Network is a networking and social club for people who run their own businesses. The Home Based Business Network meet on the second Wednesday of each month for informal social and networking activity. The next meeting is on Wednesday 11 August 2010 at 9.30 am and will be held in Enterprise House, Harmire Enterprise Park, Barnard Castle. Anyone wishing to attend will be more than welcome. The group comprises 20 members to date from all backgrounds and all sectors including book keeping, bakery, film making, design, archaeology, web services, public relations, financial services and business coaching. Working from home can be very isolating sometimes and it can make it harder for people to access contacts and network in the same way as people who have an office facility, says Lynn Todhunter, Customer Services Manager at Enterprise House. We try to keep the meetings informal and friendly with coffee and cakes but each month we have an interesting talk which is relevant to people's businesses. It can range from anything from search engine optimisation to media training. The group also swaps supplier contacts and works to help and support each other as well as networking for business purposes.
